Heart of Conflict Education Pack

October 22, 2015 by Susan Roberts 1 Comment

Our Education Pack  is for use by groups of all ages. Its aim: to help YOU uncover stories in YOUR area about World War One.  We concentrate in the pack on stories of heroism from the Camborne/Redruth area in west Cornwall. Pictured above: volunteers waiting at Redruth Station for a train to take them to war.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped compile this, in particular 7th Camborne Guides who helped to interview people and collect stories. We were also inspired by Lucy Johnson, History teacher at Redruth School, whose students wrote poetry included in the pack.
