A banner brought back from Ypres

Rose from silk bannerOne of the possessions carefully preserved by Alison Pooley, descendant of Lesley and Lillie Pentecost, is a silk banner brought back from Ypres by Leslie after World War One.

Lesley and Lillie met just before War broke out. For more about their long-distance love story, click here.
