Edward WhearPhoto of Edward Whear, born 1886 in Victoria Street, Camborne. He was a tin streamer for most of his life.

Edward Whear was the grandfather of Valerie Grigg, who has extensively researched his World War One service. He served for several years in the Labour Corps, helping to maintain an infrastructure of roads and railways in France.
