Details of WW1 nurse’s uniform produced for exhibition

March 27, 2018 by Susan Roberts Leave a Comment

Details of WW1 nurse’s uniform produced by  historical costume expert Lorna Kinsey-Jones for our Heart of Conflict exhibition at the Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro, in 2017.  We featured an autograph book from Redruth Officers’ Auxiliary Hospital at Scorrier House, near Redruth, in the exhibition. The book,  held permanently at Cornwall Record Office, was kept by a nurse there and  is an old-fashioned autograph book, filled with signatures and drawings from nurses and soldiers.
