Squadron Leader F.W. Wetherill’s flying goggles and badges

IMG_7611 IMG_7605 IMG_7606Squadron Leader F.W. Wetherill, headmaster at Redruth County Grammar School from 1931-64, was a pilot in the Royal Naval Air Service and took part in pioneer deck flying.

These flying goggles and badges belonged to him and have been carefully preserved by Paddy Bradley of Redruth, who was a pupil at the school.
