Reconstructing period costume

July 4, 2017 by Susan Roberts Leave a Comment

As partIMG_7003 of our Heart of Conflict exhibition at the Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro, the Museum arranged for two costumes to be recreated  – a nurse’s uniform and Land Army regulation clothing.

Laura Kinsey-Jones, who specialises in recreating historical costume, gave a talk during the exhibition on her methods and research.
