Isaac Champion Nicholls: master saddler

July 4, 2017 by Susan Roberts Leave a Comment

Isaac Champion Nicholls of Penzance was a master saddler and exempted from war service. He produced harnesses, saddles and bridles for horses at home on the land as well as on the Front.  He produced these miniature samples for a national competition. We are very grateful to his grandchildren Stuart Nicholls and Christine Eddy for loaning them to Heart of Conflict.
