Heart of Conflict at the Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro

April 16, 2018 by Susan Roberts Leave a Comment

Our exhibition Heart of Conflict, looking at Cornwall during World War One, was at the Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro, from December 2016 to June 2017. It presented previously untold stories – and objects that had long been in the possession of families. Alongside these were objects from the Museum’s own collection.  Here are people’s reactions: Visitors’ Book Heart of Conflict 2016-17

Highlights of the exhibition were:

A talk on nursing and medical care

A talk on life at sea during World War One

A talk on young miner William Gendall Jenkin

A poetry workshop by local author Jenny Alexander
